Added: - Birth of Henry VIII, King of England (1509-47). 2012 Wild Rose Renaissance Faire is a good place to have fun.
CONNECTIONS through time. The Indians are saved from slavery by the pope. Later Henry the 8th was declared defender of the faith, by the pope. Eventually the pope told Henry he could not divorce his wife. Henry kicked the Catholic out of England. Years after Henrys death His daughter Queen Mary, invited the Catholic back to England, kicked out everything else. Another of Henry 8'ths daughters Queen Elizabeth I, was much more tolerant of religious variety.
